Gaziantep’s new logo was created with the cooperation of all major stakeholders, including but not limited to the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, the office of the governor, and the chamber of industry.
THE JOY OF MASTERY
Gaziantep and the people of Gaziantep have always stood out when it comes to productivity. The tagline of “Turkey’s Masterly People” is adopted to depict the people of Gaziantep who can create the best in everything they do, from the cuisine to handicrafts from literature to industry thanks to the joy of mastery they carry in them.
A GAZIANTEP TO VISIT, LIVE, AND WORK
The city is positioned as a city to visit, live, work while the new logo will be used in the airport terminals, on trams and busses, in the projects of theMetropolitan Municipality and for the promotions of trade associations.
The logo that has been created by Emrah Yücel, has different versions for different categories such as pistachio, baklava, zoo, transportation, kebab, love of Gaziantep, handicrafts, and organic goods. A brand book is also prepared to illustrate better Gaziantep’s visual identity, logo’s design principles, and its correct usage.
The new logo that has been designed under the guidance of the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality will be made public on February8thin a meeting held at the Gaziantep University.
